Julie has asked us kids to let her know what AYP means to us! Julie is doing a workshop on AYP and would like to include what it means to us the Learners of Delta Vision.
So what does Adequate Yearly Progress mean to you? Post your comments here and we'll let Julie know!

Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) is a standard by which students education is measured, but I'm going to attack it in another way. Yearly Progress: This is pretty self explanatory, progress made each year. For example, how much has the student learned in comparison to last year?
ReplyDeleteAdequate: To me adequate means satisfactory. In education this is measured by the Colorado Model Content Standards.
Therefore, to me AYP means the measurement of yearly progress as set forth by the Colorado Model Content Standards.
